Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish and Translation Studies
The Department of World Languages & Cultures at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish and Translation Studies to begin August 1, 2017 with Ph.D. (A.B.D. considered) in Spanish, Translation, or cognate area; teaching expertise in Spanish for specific purposes and theory and practice of translation (and/or interpreting); native or near-native proficiency in Spanish; and record of excellent teaching. Teaching duties may include undergraduate and graduate courses in Spanish-English translation and translation theory in the Graduate Certificate in Translation Studies. This is a one-year position with possibility of renewal.
